Each year the School House Curriculum Centre publishes thousands of pages of lesson plans, handouts, activity sheets, award certificates, recognition certificates, thematic units, novel studies and a host of other resources and distributes them in a hardcopy format or in a convenient CD version to schools and teachers who want instant access to a wide variety of grade specific resources. The hardcopy pages are put into specially designed binders and are subject indexed for easy access. 

Teachers can access these resources every day of the year to improve skills in language, mathematics and science, to name only a few of the content areas. Our resources are designed to help students at all levels of ability in all subject areas and most worksheets can be used to fill a number of roles. They can be used as a pre-test to determine the point where instruction should begin; they can be used as an activity sheet to practice and develop desired skills; they can be used as a post-test to determine student mastery of skills taught; or they can be used as a means to ensure the maintenance of an established skill.

All the documents are at your fingertips. If you want to recognize a student’s successful acquisition of a skill, open the binder or CD to the  Awards and Recognition section and print a PDF document from the CD version of the School House Book of Resources or photocopy one of the masters from the hardcopy binder. Either format makes it a quick and easy process to acknowledge a student’s achievement with one of the many certificates available in the School House Book of Resources. All documents on our CD are  in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). If you do not have Adobe Reader on your computer, it is available as a free download from Adobe Acrobat.
