School House Curriculum Centre has developed a special program in order to help our members acquire our resources and services with the least financial cost possible. Because we are constantly looking to expand our resource bank with quality lesson plans, worksheets and activities, we provide School House dollars to any teacher that sends us resources that we can add to our growing library.

Teachers can send in as many submissions as they choose and as often as they like. There are no minimums or maximums. However, all submissions must be original. We do not accept copies or reproductions of copyrighted materials. All work must be accompanied by the appropriate form- Curriculum Contribution Form- and emailed or faxed to our office.

Within seven days, the contributor’s bonus account will be credited with a minimum of $5.00 up to a maximum of $20.00 for each contribution made. The member can use these virtual dollars to purchase any of our locally developed resources or services.

Earn Five Bonus Bucks for a Worksheet - $5.00

Do you have a worksheet that you just developed for your students? Send us a copy and we will give you five School House dollars so that you can purchase additional worksheets and resources to help your students. Earning School House dollars couldn’t be easier. Over the course of the year, you can quickly accumulate $100.00 or more.

Earn Ten Bonus Bucks for a Lesson Plan- $10.00

Every now and then the School House Curriculum Centre may find through its discussions and surveys with its members that there is a need for a complete lesson plan in a particular area. In this situation, the Curriculum Centre may request assistance in developing a special submission to address the needs of the membership more fully. When a request for assistance is sent out, members are urged to use this appeal as an opportunity to look for that hidden gem stashed away in the filing cabinet or use our appeal as a source of inspiration to develop a lesson plan that can be shared with other members.

To reward our members who respond to a request for assistance and send in a submission within 15 days, the School House Curriculum Centre provides ten School House bonus bucks ($10.00) that can be used to purchase additional products and services from our resource bank. 

Earn Twenty Bonus Bucks for a Study Unit- $20.00

If $10.00 is not enough, a member can earn twenty School House bonus dollars ($20.00) for every complete study unit that is submitted to the Curriculum Centre. The study unit may be developed  for any grade or subject area and may consist of a novel study, a language arts theme unit, a social studies unit or any other unit that encompasses three or more lessons. The format of the unit must follow the guidelines as set out by the centre. A sample of the guidelines can be obtained by clicking on forms and guides.  As soon as a unit plan  has been received and reviewed by our pedagogical supervisor, twenty bonus dollars will be added to the contributor's account which can then be used to purchase additional products and services from our resource bank.

How do members submit their work ?

Members are asked to submit their contributions to the School House Curriculum Centre by fax or e-mail. To view these addresses, click on contact us. Once a contribution has been received, it is edited and suitable graphics are added to compliment the document. The contribution is then converted into a PDF document and posted on the site for members to download at their convenience.  

What  documents can I send to the School House Curriculum Development Centre ?

You can send in anything that pertains to the curriculum and to the general operation of your classroom. However, all contributions must be original. Work from commercial sources or copyrighted curriculum material are unacceptable.
