Clear Learning Objectives

Picture
A learning objective is a statement describing a competency or performance capability that students will be able to do when they have completed instruction. A learning objective has three major components:
1. A description of what the student will be able to do
2. The conditions under which the student will perform the task.
3. The criteria for evaluating student performance.

Learning Objectives Are Important
The teacher should include only one general learning outcome in each objective. Clearly defined objectives will help the teacher to focus the instructional content, develop appropriate instructional strategies; acquire and develop necessary instructional materials and construct appropriate assessment tools to evaluate student outcomes.

Members are encouraged to check the site daily to ensure that they do not miss an activity that is suitable for their students.
